    Another Falkar! Empty Another Falkar!

Post  Guest Tue Oct 12, 2010 4:21 pm

Hi all, so this was the first 54mm figure I ever did, I did this sometime in the later part of last year. Having only ever painted 28mm (and thereabouts) scale this was to be my learning project. I learnt alot from this mini and have since done a few more with more planned.

Anyway hope the pics are ok for you and it just gives an idea of what I do I guess.

I'm not a figgy guy but I have to say I like it a lot...like the skin tone too...he looks like he's having a cold day in the snow!

    Keep them coming!

Thank goodness you said that! I tried to reflect the coldness he's feeling in his face, doing the bigger models allows for so much more effect, but as I say i'm learning as I go so any advice would be greatly received.

Paul, I hate to point it out but you have a very visible seam lime/mould line on the right shoulder (blue cloth) Sad

Other then that, you kept the colours very vivid and yes the skin tone looks cold....Brrrrrrrr What a Face

nicely painted figure, but I agree with the others regarding the mould line, other wise well done. As you said, we learn from our mistakes.

Hi Paul and welcome, looks very good for a first figure Cool but I would go over the mould line and touch up with some paint.
