    Thanks Adrian..... as you can note I'm a righty! In fact I start shading from left to right to avoid smudging the graphite!

    Are they imaginative? or 'copied' from images?

    Copies.... to do something imaginative like this one must have a great art skill and be very experianced.

    Many (if not all) artists, when painting a realistic scene, for example a tree, they will always refer to a photo. It is almost impossible to remember the exact detail of reality.

    Many artists I know that draw realisim, all have a data of photos of many stuff, boats, birds, trucks, trees etc... in varied angles so as to use when painting something.
