Here are a selection of photos of my latest 1:72 RWD-8 Trainers in different national markings. The model is not a very good one but quite a lot of detail has gone into these little models. Notice the external control line rigging!

    In Czechoslovakian markings:

    In Hungarian markings:

Now that you mention it, yes I remember although I admit I had forgotten all about it! References are very very hard to find on this one and I just managed the one monograph. Most info is about the civil version which has a different engine. In fact, the model actually has the civil engine which I had to convert - FIVE times! - to produce the military version. This apart from the fact that in 1:72, it is one very small and fragile parasol.

Glad you like the selection Al!

I have a habit to pick an odd and horrible model, but doing it five times in a row have to say you have guts my friend, like Alex I love exotic finishes, especially seeing something from the Spanish CW.

Thanks Guys for your kind words.

The models look better in the photos but make nice little splashes in the showcase.

...because it is World War II and I just love the Polish aircraft of that period. The Polish aviation industry was very prolific up to the invasion of September 1939. Then the Germans took it over and turned it into production for their own aircraft. After the war, the Communists did the same and it is only now just starting to recover.

Lovely collection Aldo. I particularly like the ones in Romanian and Spanish CW markings.

Cool work Aldo, not like you to do something not German but these little guys look really great, what a wonderful addition to your immense collection. I think i like the Rumanian and the Spanich Civil war versions the best.
