Help to identify tracks on this Firefly

To the sherman experts, I have spotted this Lebanese Firefly from 1958, I noticed it is not with the typical british type tracks but looks like these are the metal type used on USA shermans?

Basically rubber shoed tracks which were burnt all the way leaving only metal
component. I believe they were still used on some lend lease tanks despite being completely devoid of the rubber element. I believe Panda plastics sell a set. I recommend their sets much better than the plastic AFV club ones (which tend to fall apart easily).

This is damn strange, as normally Firefly sports the metal chavron T62 type, these seem to be burrowed from another sherman, as this tank is not KO and neither burnt [wheels are still neat], could it be they took the tracks from a KO and used them as metal ones?

could also be the t13 m4 3bar cleat with duckbills as it looks too wide to be a normal track. accurate armour produce a resin set of this version

that type has different alternating links....

I read that the tracks were used regardless of the rubber shoes or not....possibly salvaged from another KO tank...

I am not an expert on Allied tanks especially the Sherman - I consider it as a bath tub placed upside down and sited on a wheel chair.

But I think that you have to consider the fact that the French used the Sherman after the war, thus the one shown in the picture may be one of those tanks purchased from France and utilising a french produced tracks. Of course I stand to be corrected - Shermans are not my bread and butter, prefer much more the German panzers.

Not sure from were the Lebanese purchased their tanks, but I doubt these were French [they sold to Syria for sure PzIV, Jagdpanzers and Hummels].

I think these were British as they had other british tanks in their arsenal prior they got things from the IDF.

For certain I have images of other Lebanese Fireflies with typical British metal chevron T62 but this caught my attension ... if it is a skeleton type track this makes it an interesting venture as I am always on the look out for odd subjects ... and the middle east conflicts are full of these!

Got info directly from a Lebanese that all 3 types of tracks were used, bars US type [like these], british type metal and also solid rubber block. Mix and match or what was available seems the norm
