What size of figures to go with 1:43 cars?

Hi, as the title implies, I'm looking to find what size in mm to get figures to match 1:43 scale cars.... I have a friend of mine who collects 1:43 cars and would like to complement them with figures....

I'm thinking somewhere about 20mm figures, but not sure....

20mm is 1:72 scale. IMO 1:48 is the closest to 1:43

thks Ray... so what size of figures would that be?? 30mm sound right?

it is quite easy to solve your problem. generally height of persons is around 1650mm to 1800mm. Thus, the range of your figures should be between 38mm to 42mm. Then check on their waist to check the x-axis since their height is in the y-axis.
