Joking apart, I agree with Wayne and Ray, build what you want and like!!

Here we go again ... Arrow ..If you realy love.....Aviation cheers ..stick with aircraft...

Gordon if you want to be prof in your favorite subject , stick with it , if for some time you feel to take a break, go read some think that is connected with your subject so you will get more close and info about what you are building...

Whilst military aviation remains my top choice and love, I also like land and sea subjects along with their history. Airplanes can do a lot of things from destroying bunkers to sinking ships, but you still need ground forces to properly reach the objective of winning a war, ie the man on the ground and his equipment. Sometimes a break from the same subject is needed, so that when break time is over you return to your first choice with renewed energy!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

p.s - sorry Gordon for the hijack, must be something viral!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil lol!

I do not agree that any modeller should stick to one subject. Unfortunetly that is so unfair to someone's flare to search and wonder into new styles ...

I feel one has to keep dear to him the subject that excel in and is fluent in research and production ... but why not experiment into various era and subjects? The basics of modelling being aircraft, afv, marine, car or figures [etc etc] all have the same pediment and basics. For sure each subject has it's quality, ie. certain aircraft and marine have to be meticolously constructed and painted, the lengthy construction of parts in certain AFVs and marine subjects can get you nervous, teh weathering and painting on figures and AFVs is paramount and yet all these ingredients still can benefit in each model we built, all things need to be constructed properly, all things get weathered somehow and all things need to be painted properly ...

That's how I see it ... so Marco instead of putting your philosophy in ... mhux ahjar tlesti dawk il-109s jew ghadek tiricerka!!!!!!

Gordon and Joseph, prosit your experimenting will help you assist weathering aircraft for sure : )
