Back onto familiar territory after recent foray into Soviet-landia. I had to stop working on the T-34  project for the time being because of work-space limitations, so I'm using my  free time [lots of it at the moment, courtesy of the Libyan militias] to do some construction work on another Panzer.
Revell's Panzer III is an excellent kit and although the moulds might not be as crisp as more recent offerings by other brands, it can still be built into an accurate representation  of this medium tank. I added a turned barrel and went for PE detail set by E.T. Model which is very comprehensive and relatively cheaper than other sets.

Beautiful work so far. One thing that i really like are the steel cables. They look fantastic and i can imagine how cool they will look when painted.

Thanks Brian. They were very time consuming to assemble; some of those latches are made of 5 parts and I ended up cross-eyed after constructing them. I'm in a bit of a dilemma now because if I reproduce the crew's stowage on the rear deck, I would effectively cover all the work therein.
