Post  David on Sun Apr 21, 2013 10:58 am

A nostalgic exercise after almost 2 decades of hibernation from aircraft kits

YEs David, what a lovely finish, you sure have not lost any of it, should build some more just as a break sometimes. It will do you good. I am sure it was fun.

Actally I would have prefered to have the mottle more soft edge which had me worried that I might have too much overspray

But there was so much variation in application

I think it is perfect given the scale, it is very easy to overdo it in 72nd scale, just right and now stop fishing for compliments and build another one, it needs a fighter escort!!.... or those spitfires will get it.

I do have squadron signal 6008 6044 regia aeronautica vol 1 and 2 and 6022 Italian aircraft of ww2.

I bought the italieri folgore 202

would have bought the 90/53 AA on camion but has been deleted from the italieri lists

K hobbies has a good selection of italian aircraft

    Thanks
