    Genltemen's gaming room

Post  David on Sun Jun 30, 2013 1:22 pm

As some may know me I'm not only an "ex" modeller but also a wargamer apart from other things.

Since at the SSM club there was no more maintenance work pending I embarked on renovating our gaming room

6 months in the making and quite pleased with the outcome

The large painting of the Battle of Jena is actually a collage of 32 A3 photocopies pasted on a board of an image I photographed from a book

    Frame ceiling coving

The cosmetic fireplace was a discarded wooden door

the light system ex ops room!

    Chairs Maltapark

    I noticed!!!

Good choice of colours... they worked very well together and give an elegant feel....... not loud or heavy.

That cannot be the same room, it looks much smaller than when renovated. There is more space around the table.

Actually the room is now smaller by about 1 inch all round. the amount of gypsum applied to the walls!
