    Afghan Tank Cemetry

Post  iCocker on Mon Oct 28, 2013 8:17 pm

Would like to share the latest multinational project combined with Adam Wilder [USA] and Zach Sex [ireland], depicting a derelict T62 in an Afghan tank yard [built by Zach] and painted and weathered by Adam Wilder. they managed to shape up a different way to show a tank Smile Not artistic license but based on a foto :p

Groundwork done also by Adam, my part was painting the Afghan man.

Thanks guys, the Afghan is not my sculpt but I agree it is a very interesting pose, only the painting was my work ... it will be available by Verdier Resin Company. Acidentally I find him to be like my self portrait dressed as an Afghan and took care to give him my trademark, the salt n pepper goatie : )

I would say the figure has an incorrect lean. He must be supported by something or else he is gravity man! Wink

Joking apart Very Happy , good job and well painted!

Now that you put it that way and looking closely he does resemble you Ivan, i think you did an excellent job of painting yourself.

I think that there is a positive resemblance especially if you see the first photo and compare to Ivan's avatar. Ivan, can you post a better close up of your Afghan twin brother?
