    Let me introduce myself...

Post  Guest on Sun Oct 04, 2009 5:43 am

I have gotten back into the modeling hobby about 3 years ago. I used to built a lot of models as a kid (between the ages of 10 -16) then I discovered computers. Twenty years later I found I have the 3 things needed to model again, time, space and money, so I got back into the hobby. Here is examples of some of my work in the last 3 years since I got back into the hobby...

    My 1:72 scale captured ME-262

    My 1:48 scale P-38

    My 1:35 scale Sherman

    My 1:35 scale Jadgpanther

    My 1:16 scale Erwin Rommel

and a bit on the loney side my german indy car

As you can see I dable in a little of everything but my love is aircraft.

thanks for posting i like the way you handled the p-38. i think you will get some stick over the
me262 with british markings. over here they love german aircraft and hate to see them in "alien" markings

The 262 was part of a group build for a local model group here for nationals in the US in 08. The theme was "Strangers in a Strange Land". The display included the 262 above, a ME-163B in Russian markings, a P-47 and B-17 in German markings, a P-40 in Japanese marking a Zero in Us markings amongst other aircraft in the group display.

This years build was US aggressor aircraft in 1:48 scale I did an F-16 ( http://wedmodelfactory.com/Airplanes%20-%20F-16.html ) it's not my best.

Right now I am in the middle of a move from one job & location to another. If all goes well I will have my model bench back up and running in 4 to 6 weeks.... (I am shooting for closer to 4 but it depends onthe wife and her unbeknownst to me plans for the house ) Very Happy

Almost all of my models are OOB. I have just started into the third party add-ons with several models I have under construction.

    Nice Work

Nice work. Great level of workmanship - we normally concentrate on one topic but hey, you do fine in all! I'm into aviation WWII so will restrict myself to that - loved your 262, P38 and especially the 410 although you have too many clogs on it, methinks...

Keep up the good work and welcome to IPMS Malta!
