    I remember drooling over John Saliba's version way back in 1986 (it was done before that year and am sure Marco KNOWS well the EXACT Year, Month, Day and Time) which actually was a conversion back then as there was no kit per se........it was displayed at the model shop Suspect

    Oh Ray I have to answer this , you have bring me memories .. in fact that was 1984 the 2nd annual SSM comp held in Excelsior Hotel, good old days , yes that was great John w Saliba conv of the Mb326 in 1/48 he managed to get 2nd place and I got first place with my F-104 tiger meet ..also in the background there is other five of my models two 109's,F-100D, SR-71 and the F-104..freece tricolori Aermacchi MB339A PAN 1-48 Pictur10

    I remember those competitions with the placings noted on the red/white cockade. I was never at excelsior but i remember them at Floriana when i first joined the club. i still have a photo somewhere with my Ju87, the one at the museum with one of those near it. It felt so good, it was a third place i believe.

    Dik il-windshield nahseb hux, you either send for a replacement or vac-u-form it, it's shape is very simple so it will come out very nice as a vac-u-form. If you opt for the latter option let me know so I will get you a piece of clear acetate and explain to you the process. If you have any difficulty we will do it at club but first you have to fill the windshield with milliput.

    Do as being suggested, fill it gently with milliput otherwise it will break completely making it harder to work with. You have to vacform the new windshield, the advantage is you can make multiple copies, just in case. You can also do as the doc said as well. Just a small advise, when seperating the clear parts from the sprue, it is better to use a fine razor saw and then gently sand down the rest, as using the blade to seperate and clean can result in quite a damage to the clear part, including breaks, and this is experience, learned sometimes the hard way.
