This one of the recent models I have completed. A rather old 1/72 Hasegawa F14A. All panel lines are raised, and a far stretch from the refinements seen in many of today's models. Built straight out of the box, with decals by Hi Decal Line. Weathering with oils, in this case burnt umber.
Reading through this forum and other online forums (foreign), a lot of reference is made to Johnsons Klear for the gloss clear coat on models. Well I have tried out a similar product which is found locally - Emsal 'Perfect Shine' - which I have found does the job quite well. For the matt coat I still use Revell Matt finish.
