    Nice!
Now, I'm trying to learn here....... don't take this wrong. ... I know you are a repected modeller and a good one too.
I don't see any weathering....... maybe because I'm watching it on a mobile phone. But to me it looks like a diecast collection kit.

    Am I off line here?

That's Joe's way of building his models. Every modeller has his own way and his own type of finish. Joe's models are immaculate, I could never find anything at fault with either the building, or the panel lines or the paintwork or the finish, in my humble opinion perfect. However, he does not like to weather his models at all. That is his way. each to his own, its just a matter of preference, like building a tiger tank fresh out of the factory. You cannot say one model is correct and the other isn't. I envy him and wish i could at least once obtain such a finish. Still, i prefer some weathering but that is my way. If you are going to start building planes, and you seem to be having one hell of a time doing that, and you are good at it too, you need to find your way and the finish you prefer.

    Good explanation, Brian.
The weathering is allways headache and sometimes could make or break a model and it's the last thing we want to do....... to be disappointed with what started as an excitement.

To say the truth I'm always afraid of weathering. But I'm always trying new ways to weather and the only way to do that is on the model s I'm building and there is always the fear of ruining the model.

So an aircraft without apparent weathering is acceptable. That's a load off my mind!
