    Guys

Lets finish this polemic ... next model we shall paint it tonalities of grey and create a 3D BW model cheers

Joking apart, I have been working long enough in digital and printing and can assure you that all and none 'have a reason' to try to manipultae BW into colour. The source is very complex and there are software that try to acheive this but still not definite results ... rem, eber when Hollywod tried to turn old BW into colour ... the process is all according to how photos or films were developed and that isa long story!

When controversy like this happens the only source we have to recall are the military documents ... if they are definite 'chi lo sa', if they were 'obeyed' on the field ... only veterans can tell but I assure you few shall remember ... so till a Timemachine is invented there shall remain artistic licence and sources ...

Because of this "debate", I fell prey yesterday and wasted an off duty without touching a brush, even though I managed to prime, I still stayed glued to the PC like in the old days Sad but not today for sure........and to top it all up, I shot some BAD pics of Prince John before I slept Sad so a day almost wasted Sad because of Marco Sad

But this forum is still a BLESSING because we waste energy here 24/7 and at club we'll be more calm and serene I love you

Noel keep it up on ALL FRONTS cheers
It would be nice to see you as we haven't seen you since last year, and Doc as well Laughing

After seeing in 'flesh' yesterday and checking all documets provided by our Brit Armour expert ALex, we can conclude this tank is pretty in pink and black ... but Noel please do use the white to break the gun silloutthe!

Noel you achieved a very damn good result ... looking forward for the weathering now!

Thank you all for your kind comments! Very Happy

I'm at the stage of applying the light chips. Next will be to go over most of them with a darker colour, as you can see on the front hull.

I like the chips, choose a couple and give them some highlight to create different types and texture ... do not forget the wheel areas as they are still 'new'.

I have not said NO WHITE anzi make that white underbarrel to break the silhoutte and the pinkish colour. As the tank is a pale sandypink colour the white would contrast nad break the hue, see the demarcation on the black camo ... insomma IMO

Keep it up, you should turn to the British said then the dark side silent

Beautiful work Noel. I can only see these pics at home. I love the weathering. Those chips look very realistic especially the ones on the rim of the openings. Keep up the excellent work.

Thank you friends for your kind comments!

The next step was to apply the dark chipping. Keep in mind that with the washes the chipping will be much softer.

Noel, IMO the top of the turret and gun need much more work, probably the second area beside the front that would have soldiers working around on it. Would have been an ideal candidate for an exercise in hairspray scratches technique, maybe for another project mate ...

Besides what you have done till now is great, your hand work is very precise keep it up ...
