I have an old Pegaso 54mm metal figure ready painted in the old habit of enemels and oils which I wish to clean up as I intend to convert, what do you recommend, placing it in cellulose thinner would get the enemel paint off?

Again taking alex's advice, acetone might be as good.
And taking Sam's advice since he's the Prince of paint removing (Alex is the King ) a fine brush is needed as well..........I use an old toothbrush but investing in a "new harsh" tootbrush is recomended IMHO or else ask someone with "gnawing teeth mechanism" to lend you a used toothbrush

Hardy, I think that is acetone based liquid, or whatever but still I'm not 100% on this one as I have never used the nail varnish remover
Alex is our alchemist so he should know better
