Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
I ordered some 4 STAR WARS (Yoda, fighting Obi Wan Kenobi, Count Dooko, Darth Vader) and 2 MARVEL COMICS (Thor in mail & Doctor Doom) and in just 2DAYS I had them at home
This was after Euro so you can say that I was stressed & needed some THERAPY
Anyway I left a post on their FB so everyone would know of their sterling service

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Short update guys, the topside of one of the 110G wings is done. here are some pics.
The small white intake scoops are individually made. I tried making a resin male mould and hot form them but it did not work. I could not trim them properly to fit as they should so i am now doing them individually from hollow tubing. The air intake is from a 109G. The engine nacelles for the 110G were very much like the nose of the 109G. There are many similarities and i think that many components were common to both including those small air intake scoops, the air intake for the supercharger and also the spinner.

A really great job on the wing, it's amazing how much you had to file away on th nacelle to get the correct shape!

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Time for a small update. I have nearly completed the underside of one of the Revell wings. Here are some pics of the work. The entire reshaped wing has been re-scribed and surface detail added on. Also you can see the scratch built radiator. I only need to fit the corrected radiator fairing now and that wing will be done apart from the wheel well of course which is another matter. I am working on the radiator fairing at the moment. This project is taking forever.

Re: A tale of 2 Me110's
Hi guys here is an update finally, this is the completion of the second oil cooler fairing and also the manufacture and fitting of the landing light and the air intake for the other wing which are located in the wing leading edge. i decided to make aluminium inserts for these.
Wheel well detailing next and then the wings will be done.
