Painting question

I recently picked up a Revell 1/32 M3 Lee, I haven't built a tank in probably at least 35 years, I know the Revell is older and an odd scale, but it still looks pretty good to me.

I have been trying to figure out the best way to paint a tank? I have seen some threads where they leave the bogey wheels off until after the hull is painted, is it best to paint the bogey wheels and what they get sandwiched into separately or after the bogeys are put together? Seems like it would be hard to get good coverage if they were put together? I will most likely be painting it with a brush.

there is no single technique usualy i paint mine after assembly usualy if posssible leaving the wheels free to roll for ease of painting and then fixing them with a spot of pva. there are different opinions on this so i guess you just have to decide which technique is suitable for you.

as for the m3 im guessing its the old monogramm kit under the revell tag which as you say although being in 1/32 is still a valid kit

Yes, it is the old Monogram model. I was happily surprised to see little if any flash considering the molds are relatively old, unless they redid them at some point.
