Hey guys,
As you know, besides being a wing nut I'm also into Warhammer 40K and sci-fi in general. While clearing out some stuff in the garage I came across some home made board pieces for a another Games Workshop game called Space Hulk. It's basically a battle set in an abandoned space craft... think of the "Alien" films and you'll get the idea.
Anyway, back to the point of this post. I always wanted to create some detailed terrain that would better depict the atmosphere while playing the game. After rummaging about the net I found this site which produces molds for creating fantasy and sci-fi settings.

The things are a bit pricey but you can create some fantastic pieces in a relatively short time. Scratch building every board game piece might produce better results but would also take forever.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with you. Any thoughts Alex (Gimli)
