    Reunited - the figures ...

Post  iCocker on Mon Aug 10, 2009 6:15 pm

Starting of with a first mock up shot of a trio of soviet tank crew for the KV1. Figures came from Miniart, chopped from parts with new heads and other elements updated or scratchbuilt to achieve the composition and setup required. Heads for most were Hornet. Particuylar note that in Leningrad 1944 apart from old armour one could also still find 1941 uniform being used by infantry, tank crew etc ... The cool pepping Ivan comes from MIG ... set up is still not as I wish the final pyramid shape, my usual composition ...

    more to come ...

Thanks guys ... this weekend hopefully I shall set up some new images on my progress, I agree with Ray in all models figures add dimension and a human element to the scene, look at Brian's effects with the planes ... Dottore you now from were to start, just grab a brush and train your suasage fingers to handle the tool properly ... I still wonder how you manage to work on so delicate parts in your profession, probably all your patients are under thge effect of anistethic Embarassed

Ejja from this Euro you have at least to grab Jaume and Calvin Tan Osprey book
on how to paint figures ...
