Hi from Spain

Hi all
My name is Antonio Martín Tello, and I am from Zaragoza, Spain. I'm an AFV Modeller and I use to build WWII subjects, mostly late war ones. I run a webpage (www.afvplanet.com) where you can see my works and some others from some friends around the world.
I would like to thank Ivan for inviting me to this forum, for which I am very honoured. I'll post some of my works and I will be delighted to read your comments.

We already started certain debates about modulation, and if it can be worked as well on other models besids tanks and figures!

I have been having a peek to the forums and I must say that there are excelent works here.
Also, I have been reading something about Malta (the Wikipedia, you know...) and I must say that I am fascinated by the Maltese language. It looks very difficult and does not look like anything I have read before. It almost seems like a Tolkien's language
By the way, we also share some common history, since the Aragonese Almogavares (a sort of marines of the Middle Ages) took Malta for the King of Aragon in 1282. Well, this was when Aragón was a power in the Mediterranean (Zaragoza is tha capital of the ancient kingdom of Aragón), a time gone long ago...

Welcome aboard Antonio...Yes we are a tiny island... but full of history...

So that's why you like my avatar Adriano, I am dressed up as a local militia from the Universita of Mdina [then our former capital] during the Aragonese period 15c.

Malta has a long history related with Spain, we were also part of Charles V vast empire and thanks to him we were donated to the Hospitaller Order of St John. Our language is very difficult it is a sematic language, evolving trough the passage of time. It is influenced from the Phoenician language our first colonisers but by time it evolved taking into it Latin, Italian, French, Spanish and after a long colonisation, British as well. Hearing speaking you might pick certain words that are familiar to your language ... hope one day you'll be able to visit our island.
