Very nice Gordon, you have put in a lot of detail. Are you sure those small parts should all be on it at this time?

Well done Gardon, I am wondering if you are planning the new pixil digital camo uniform, that is a nightmare to do, if I were you try to browse a little and see if in Afghanistan the previous camo is/was being used by the US army or marines handling Strykers ...

    Ivan

The ACU (Army Combat Uniform) started replacing the BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) in 2005. Initial fielding of the ACU was in Iraq 2005 on brigade level. The marines use the MARPAT (MARine PATtern) and complete replacement was by 2004. First stryker deployment in Iraq was in 2003, while in Afganistan they were deployed for the first time in 2009. So it is a question of which unit is the M1130 is going to depict and deployment period. Anyway replicating the digital camo is going to be a challenge. So if it will be an afganistan stryker , it surely has to be digitl camo.

Gordon, looks you finally saw the light [or dark some say] and came to the relm of the Dark Side! Welcome mate!

the beast is so cool, one question if may I ask, am I recalling correctly that your plans are for a vehicle in Afghanistan? I am asking this as that grassy field is not that appropriate for that desolate state ... on second taughts you can put the beast on a missionground somwhere in the states just before deployment, but you have to omit the afghan decals ...

now that ivan has brought this up
i hope you are NOT going to use that synthetic turf mat for your model it will in my opinion ruin all the excellent work you have done so far

or is it just for display purpose?
