Since my neck-shoulder pain, a month and a half ago, put me out-of-action, I have been slowly doing this project.

It will be a diorama and I'm hoping to purchase 2 of those lovely Alpine figures and I'm going to try to make this a winner diorama. TO BE CLEAR: by Winner I mean one of my best ones not a gold winner at Euro or HIS!! Surprised

Noel you don't have to as you can upload on the forum direct from your PC. Also when I go to work (this is between us) I just edit my post on our forum, highlight the whole text + obviously the pics themselves, copy and paste the whole on ANY/ALL the other foras and voila.........MAGIC Twisted Evil

And don't forget that I am a PC IGNORANT lol!

Well, I had known that but you are breaking the law.

At some point in time Microsoft will get to know that you are not hosted on a photo server and you are going to be in trouble man!

Uploading directly from your PC not only violates the law of "Photo sharing" but increases the risk of virus.

Amazing work Noel, do you put in all the scratches with the brush or do you use a sponge where you want the large number of small scratches?

The scratches are made with a fine pointed brush. I just lightly touch the surface of the model to make them. Many of them are individually shaped because at the first stroke all you get is a straight line.

In some areas I used the sponge..... very delicately and with care

Today I started dusting the Bison. I want a somewhat heavy dusted vehicle so most of the panzer grey paint will not show!!!!

This is how it started looking with a fine spray mist of a dust colour and an oil wash
Dragon Bison I Diorama - FENCE IS WHITE PB-d01

I started adding the pigments in layers........ but I'm dreading this step!

I also started layering the rut colours for the exhaust

    Noel

Very interesting progress but may I suggest to retouch the front chassis especially the rain marks, they look too artificial, very precise and monotone. Working with other colours or better still working with oils then creating dusting with MIG pigments might add a better texture and control ... by the way I love the panzergrey tone.

    Thanks guys!

I would like an honest opinion as to how it looks cos I had a hard time weathering it.

I want a dusty effect. Like a tank that has been rumbling through dry dusty roads for days.

This picture, for example, shows the grey colour has faded and changed completely except for the top edge where the crew hold and rub off the dust.
