Lectures start at 09.30 and finishes at 12.00.
Students are constucting a 1/72 Spitfire and we are instructing on general scale modelling skills, nothing out of this world.

I really enjoyed it.....and I tell you what there are some good modellers there....I enjoyed have a spell of building a plane again together with little Luke...

Today was delivered the last lecture of the S.S.M summer school! Most of the students managed to finish their models on time. Considering that for most of them this was their first modelling axperience they managed to build very good models with the guidance of David and Joseph and with the help of Mark Borg. These are some of the photo that I've captured today. There are much more to follow!

Joseph airbrushed the varnish to hasten the process otherwise they did all the work themselves.Model was handbrushed in acrylics.Toughest job was the decal transfer where we lost several serial numbers and inner roundels to sticky fingers.
Considering how inexperienced and young they did a great job.The kit was very crude and did'nt help either.
They were all exited on the suggestion of a figure (28mm)painting course next summer. Even mark borg wants to attend

Well done for this venture and hope this shall be the start of many more success stories.
As Adrain said hope these kids continue in the modelling career and share the experience with their friends as well. But finally as this session is over, it is also up to the parents to keep them interested and help them continue ... and I know they will do!
