These are my 2 Mig-17's in 1/72 which have been finished for quite a while now. The Egyptian AF one is the Dragon kit which is not available anymore, maybe they will one day reissue it. The yellow is really a sand colour and not as yellow as the photos show. The other is the quite incorrcet KP kit for the Radar equipped version of the Mig-17. I was going to throw it away but then ended as the first Alclad experiment. I only modified the tailplanes but left the main wings unchanged. Dragon kit is much better in all respects.

Love the Egyptian Mig. the other, as you say is inaccurate but proved to be a good testbed for the alclad. The finish is immaculate. You had not started to experiment with shading for different panels. But the finish is really nice. Also the construction, considering that the kit has raised detail and you managed to keep a lot of it.

Nice set of migs, well done. I especially like the egyptian one, but the other one has a nice metallic finish.
