President Emeritus Gwido DeMarco R.I.P.

This may look/sound strange coming from me, but if I didn't mean it I would not have started it.

Evolution is unstoppable and foolish is the man who does not let himself go with the flow!

In times like these, and ESPECIALLY NOWADAYS we must BE MORE UNITED as a NATION!!

I just wanted to pay homage to a fellow Maltese, who contributed in shaping our BELOVED MALTA!!!!

May God Almighty have mercy on his soul.

i have had the privilage of working with him on many occasions and i can vouch that he was a great gentleman and a pleasure to talk to.

Yesterday news was a big surprise.
R.I.P. Gwido, a great politician and very rare to have one like him nowadays. He was a true son of Malta and a patriot. God give him eternal peace and his family.
I had some few occasions talking to him and can say what a great man he was especially outside the political sphere, he had always that big smile on his face. A person that had great relations and friends from both sides of the stateroom.

One thing that I really admired in Guido was that he was capable to talk on every subject and his speeches were always interesting. I remember when we were organising the 2002 Malta International Airshow and we invited him to visit the club premises as in that airshow we were commemorating the 50 years of the George Cross. Although he was not an aircraft enthusiast I remember that he made a very interesting speech about aviation.
