Hardy, is this the figure in question? If memory serves me right I don't think anyone of us ever painted this dude
As you know, I bought his counterpart by Romeo Models @ Euro, and was contemplating of buying this fig in question in the near future for a vignette.
Sorry can't help you with this one matey

Ah Ivan beat me to the TEMPTATION
Take his word mate, as Sam, himself, and me all got one of those gems would be nice to paint them alltogether if you're not bound with a specified time frame to get him done that is...........well you'd still have to buy it anyway

The figure Ivan ponted to and which Ivan, Sam and me bought from Catania, is going to be released by Romeo next year. We bought the 3 available out of the 5 which Lorenzo had on his stand....yep we're helping him get his kids to college for sure
What we can do is take a few pics of the box art and of the castings. If Sam or Ivan don't deliver the goods before me, I'll try my BEST ASAP

I took the privilege of taking some pics of this marvellous kit =] =]
Enjoy mate =]
P.S. this kit can have a double handed sword or an axe held in his right hand

Weldone Sam you're an angel
How about showing Hardy the box art so he'll get a clearer picture of the whole figure

You won't regret it mate honestly. And the face would still be visible beneath the fixed visor. The other option which is not so tangible IMHO is to give him the other helmet which is meant to be on the ground, make it fit the head and sculpt the mail on the neck portion, which is not there, since it would be covered by the great helm. A bit too much of a hassle again IMO
Just be prepared for a bit of flash here and there and mould lines as well something which featured on the Scottish Piper I've started and something which honestly didn't expect from Romeo's castings especially on a freshly released figure.
But having said that it is an exceptional sculpt with Gianni La Rocca at his best!!

Hardy how come I missed this one
And am really surprised how neither Sam nor Ivan have come up with it before me as I'm sure it was one of them who took this pic while in Catania (I think it was Sam but am not sure anyway)
Anyway was browsing in my folder and at the end I spotted this one
Enjoy and salivate even more matey

Morn Brian,
Ivan, Samwel and yours truly bought one each while in Catania the first 3 out of the 5 available there on the Romeo stand so you should see 3 at the club at some point, where i would like us to paint them all together. What a buzz it would be, all three painting, posting, and bring progress to club

I guess Hardy shall go for a Templar or a Teuton?
Hardy drop a mail to Romeo they might still have one of the gems available ...
