I think the Tamiya works well with its own diluent and is what I use to paint the models. But when I want to lighten or darken with very dilute paint and airbrush with the fine nozzle and needle I use thinner Gunze (Mr. Color Leveling Thinner). With the Tamiya thinner had to always clean the nozzle of the airbrush because the paint was drying too quickly. I stopped having that problem although I believe that not working as well as the Tamiya thinner.

Thanks mate have to try Gunze aswell, they say that their paint is also great. As for Tamiya I managed to get no glogging with airbrushes by using their yellow cap laquer thinner, very good and when highly diluted it flows well!

PS. great smooth coat, surely this gonna be another masterpiece!

More weathering. The model already has a coat of Future.
Some oil out of the engine area, matt varnish, glue engine, landing gear and gets ready.

do you find it difficult to spray future??

Awesome work my friend but you need to weather those decals like the rest of the aircraft, at least you need to continue the panel line shading over them. Otherwise really great work.

I finally got back to the Dauntless. Some oil leaks, exhaust fumes and matt varnish. Now it should go faster once I have the other pieces already painted and ready to be glued.

What a treat, a beautiful job in the making!
