Revell's excellent 1/35 Panzer III Ausf J finished in the colours of 24th Panzer division during the Sixth army's frantic dash to the Volga in the Summer of 1942.
Added some PE detailing and separate tracks since the ones offered with the kit did not have hollow guide teeth. Aluminium barrel and figures from Dragon and Academy. For the groundwork, I used sifted soil and home-made grass tufts with some after market flower shrubs in the mix.

Lovely work, what a beautiful piece, well done. Love the groundwork and the figures too. the whole project is really nice and simple, the tank is the centre of it but the figures really give it life, the base is simple but real. Great overall!!

Thanks for the comments. The idea was just that; I did not want to construct an elaborate scene and end with the tank losing its importance as the main subject.
