The 1:32 Natter is living up to its name and driving me 'Nuts' so here's a little project I have on the side...

It's a 1:72 Messerschmitt Me 163 by Academy. As you can see the kit comes with the retrieval tractor so it will make for a nice little diorama

Here it is next to my Dr.1 for a size comparison

    Thanks mate.

I have lots of photos of this Me 163 being towed as well as a video of it. Not sure if I will be painting the tractor panzer yellow or panzer grey yet but I think the former will be more eye-catching.

Anyone has an idea where I can get suitable figures for this (if they even exist)?

Wayne in that foto it looks to be dark yellow, anything that was built after 1943, wheeled or tracked came out as dark yellow from the factory, but obviously panzer grey things were still around but that BW image looks very pale .... as for figures there are some resin good ones probably but if you want to keep it eceonomical and fun, there are a couple of Revell boxes 1/72 luftwaffe crew [original Preiser] and quite decent!

Hope not another red comet Smile

Thanks Ivan. Don't worry I have no intention of painting the Komet red... it will either be splinter camo or mottle haven't decided yet.
