You did a lot of panic , not good healthwise. Looks nice as it is, definitly will look better when painted and weathered. Keep up the good work and keep cool
p.s. - is there any chance that you might get convinced to build the whole airplane not just the engine sorry just had to ask!!!

Re: Werner Voss in 1:48scale
Sorry Macro, but here I totally agree with Ray, you will build the aircraft and Ray will do the figure, and I will supply the info this time, so that, you will have no excuse that you need to do the research and have no time, etc......

Love it Ray )
just a small suggestion from a novice...If I were you i would turn Werner so that his face is exposed more from the front not sideways...
just my opinion...

Yes, Sam I know what you mean. I tried to turn him as you suggested but then he will be looking off the engine. His body is a bit tilted towards the viewer but not much I agree. I n this photo the angle of view shows better...
I will bring it to the club next wednesday and will take your comments.

Great Ray, are those the sides of a tent? The set up is really nice. but i agree that the figure should be facing us more.

Re: Werner Voss in 1:48scale
Thanks Brian. Yes those are the sides of a Hangar tent but needs refining. I will need to change his position to make him look frontally. I will have to think about it after you see it in the flesh next Wdnesday.

Re: Werner Voss in 1:48scale
On second look, do you think the wooden "seratizzi" are overscale?

Re: Werner Voss in 1:48scale
Great set up my friend........just love it!!!!!!!!!
@ Samwel......you think that Voss would look at you instead of the engine ?
Joking apart, I totally agree with Ray C that Voss should be looking at the engine, as he's relating (talking) to her after all. Here he's not posing with his mount for a pic IMHO, but he's casually posed, sort of getting himself "in that engine" like he's meditating and envisioning so many ventures.....he's interacting with the engine
Re "seratizzi" I think they are spot on to bear the weight comfortably IMHO
Just my 2c worth that's all

Re: Werner Voss in 1:48scale
Ray C. re seratizzi, at a first glance they do look a bit overscale, but you can scale these.
If the ones you have used are 5mm wide i.e. 5mm x 48 (your scale) = 240mm = 24cm = 9.5"
I think what you can do re position of Voss, you may place the set-up at a diogonal position to the base thus whilst Voss would still be looking at the engine his face would still be facing outwards.
Just my 3c worth.
