2 1/72nd Hinds probably the best and worst kits in this scale of this popular USSR helo. The Hobbyboss is very good and the fit of the kit is overall excellent. The Italeri has too many mistakes to correct, but I still tried to correct many of them to experimant. Decals are from Linden Hill sets.
These 2 have also appeared on modelingmadness.com, where there is a description of all modifications I made to the Italeri kit as well.

I agree, and I also think that you've got a bit of overspray especially on the first one. Maybe they're some early work of yours, as we've seen better finishes on previous models.

Having said that, I still rate you top notch for having worked in obscurity so far!!!

Don't remain a stranger, as you've got great potential waiting to be exploited even further Twisted Evil

Same comments as above. We need to see you and talk to you. Your models are excellent, just the final brush up.

Yes I agree with your comments! The first one is in fact more of a sand colour in real life and not as yellow as in the photos. The finish is also not very good as I was so fed up with it that I was going to throw it in the spares bin. The finish on the Slovak one is a satin finish which I tought was most appropriate according to the photos on airliners.net.
