    A reminder about the excellent soldering workshop we had last year, LIDL has in stock a basic solder kit just under 11 Euro, kit is with regulator and 2 different heads.

    Bought one and it looks good, i just need to try it out. the difference is that this has a regulator for temperature just as David had suggested during the lecture. You also get two spools of solder of different gauge. Looks good, just need time to experiment.

    Worth buying Ray even if you don;t use it yet, it is REALLY cheap!

    why would you need a soldering kit?
