    Vickers Wellington Mk.VIII (MPM 1/72)

Post  aexuni on Tue Jun 14, 2011 12:38 am

Too much time ago... I'm afraid... My apologyzes, so. Well, the truth is I'm not time to build, though that's no excuse to visit my friends from time to time. Anyway here's my last model (one year to finish!). Nice kit, but difficult. She's painted with MisterKit acrylics, Gunze, weathered softly with paste chalks and finally a Model Air Varnish coat. Not so satisfied with brass colour on cowling - crazy fool -. Anyway, I hope you like her. Best regards.

wellcome to our forum...it seems that it's never to late for making such beautiful models ... the finish is brillant and even the scheme ...

I think that there was a lot of them around near your Islands in late WWII... cheers

Beautiful airbrushing ... I love the panelling effects, really captures an overhead lighting effect very well!

Welcome with us aswell and please share more of these masterpieces!

Beautiful work, the painting is really nice. i don;t mind the cowling finish, actually i think it is rather nice. An overall beautiful model.

Great work on the wellington, especially the paint work, nicely done. Looks very nice in coastal command colors.
