Murat 1806

Guys, for the second time here's a figure of Murat. It's in 54mm(?) by Masterclass. i know I told some of you, but here it comes again. this is one of the lousiest figures I ever had to paint.Nothing works in it. I had mold lines like dunes, half a foot missing(which i had to sculpt), detail is not consistent and lousy throughout.I'm sure I forgot something. I had on occasions painted the same figures for different clients but this one will surely be the only one !!!!Just don't know how I pulled this one off.Pics so and so but you will get to see it at club anyway

Steve, if you say it was bad then it was bad but the end result is really stunning. I love the uniform with its brilliant detail and also the work on the tiger on the horse, amazing as usual.

with all the hard work you had to do, it still came out Stunning..welldone..

You brought it to life mate, that is mastering when you have a poor model and bring it top notch, my reservation [sculpting wise] is that he does not look like Murat at alll ...

As Ivan said, upgrading a poorly cast model & painting it to this high degree is no small feat at all
