    British cavalry at Waterloo

Post  smallia on Sun Dec 22, 2013 1:49 pm

Guys this is my last effort. It's scratch in 54mm. A lot of sculpting went into the horses too due to the particular stances. As always 90% of the figures are scratch too. Hope you like and all the best to all !!!

That was my question as well as I tried to fathom why  Suspect

I think he depicted them as one over riding the other who had fallen a few seconds before during this charge maybe  Shocked Cool

Dave thanks. Let me clear the reason for my choice. It's simple really...the client's request. He wanted 2 different british regiments in one scene. So I had to come up with something to make it work. And Ray pinpointed exactly what I had in mind. As you know, during these charges, cavalrymen fell in droves. So I wanted to depict a downed one being nearly over run by his compatriot. The fact that Ray figured it out proves it worked SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

    Excellent choice!

Better than have them charging together! It's more dramatic this way!

    Prosit!
