Post  Ray on Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:55 am

I thought you Aircraft Nuts would love to see this one as it is a BEAUTY.

It will soon be released by Andrea Miniatures and it comes complete with that wreck. As a traitor, I don't know what it is Sad but I bet my head, that Marco would have the answer as soon as he sees it Twisted Evil

Also if I'm not mistaken Hans-Joachim Marseille is his IDOL hux Shocked ?

Forget the boston, it is a blenheim front section(split down the middle) The boston/havoc canopy frames were flat in the middle then rounding up in about a sem-circle (roughly) as they got to the side. As david said the depression in the framing was on the other side. Anyway, the figure is nice.

Hi there sorry for the delay but I have been working so lately ,, Well you are definitely right Joe and David 100 marks....Its a Bristol Blenheim Mk IV, although a don't have any photo yet of Marseille posing near a Blenheim may be its fiction....... this the Blenheim, and this is the Boston, and the Marland...I think I satisfied your answers.....happy modeling ...........

Sure it will Marco, however we would still need to establish what colour was it. I mean what khaki?

I presume that it was the same or a very close khaki to Rommel's tank troops, but we'll ask the German Tank nuts at the Club re this what do you think?

Or am I waisting energy as you would know what khaki it was Shocked well from the INSIGHT that you have re the BIRDS that these guys flew, I'm sure you know what did they wear and what colour they were when flying them Laughing

I have just got this kit and let me tell you its excellent. The figure looks so much better than the painted version you see on the box art, the casting is brilliant. Can't wait to start painting it and maybe doing some detailing on the interior. Just got to finish two figures before I start....... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Hardy
