Yeeeepee! It's a horrible kit but I really feel like building one. No fuss ... just out of the box sort of thing and a decent paint job to follow!

As far as I am concerned, this thread is HIJACKED by SKYHIGH as he is questioning the competence or LACK of it, of the modeller in questionskyhigh wrote:Yes Joe , there is , may I suggest the Fokker ..less rigging and colors etc..
Marco, I may not build planes but my experiance in model building is always there to help me tackle subjects that are not common to me.skyhigh wrote:Noel why did you choose , such a complicated subject , for a first build .. you could go for german plane ..or was the pilot and plane that inspired you..: at the end it is an interesting plane...
Come on skyhigh, do not chicken out, accept the challenge and show aircraft turned Pupi modeller/s that you still got what it takes!!!!Noel Petroni wrote:Marco, I may not build planes but my experiance in model building is always there to help me tackle subjects that are not common to me.skyhigh wrote:Noel why did you choose , such a complicated subject , for a first build .. you could go for german plane ..or was the pilot and plane that inspired you..: at the end it is an interesting plane...
As Ray said........ do you have doubts about my skills............ in that case shall I challange you to an out-of -the-box ME109 1/48 kit!
I chose the kit... you choose the time and start date commencing this week!
Ejja... no wiring, no photo etch... just plane (a pun!!) old straight forward build! How about that! Members will judge the result!
Deal or no deal!

Go ahead Noel do what you like ..you have plenty of experience in modeling.. what I suggest you is the model you choosed is a challeng for rigging and painting.. for a first WWI model there is more simply versions.........
Artistic Licence...
Marco all I see are FEATHERS FLYING AROUND CHICKEN CHICKEN CHICKENbcauchi wrote:Ejja Marco, that is a fair challenge, just one 109 OOB and let's see you do that. Its a start, i bet that if you do that you will build more. You just need a kick start. Actually what you need is to have your computer out of order for a week and at the same time be sick at home, just as i am at the moment. Unfortunately i am quite sick and will probably miss the last two meetings before you go to Telford. The only positive thing is that i now finally have time for modeling.
.... yes..yes... brian will get well soon........... I still waitingskyhigh wrote:Get well soon Brian ..........
Marco Transform your WORDS into WINGSbcauchi wrote:Hallik mill get well soon Marco, that is not the point, just start on the 109 and take up the challenge. It will also be good for you to start on something relaxed before you get into a serious build. Don;t you EVER intend to build any of the hundreds of models you have?!!
