For those FORTUNATE enough to experience past IPMS's in '93, '95, '98 and 2000 as a BIG CONTINGENT of SSM BAND of BROTHERS, will surely look ahead for the 50th Anniversary of IPMS Nationals 2013 with some kind of nostalgia, to repeat both FUN and SUCCESS!!
START NOW because time is SHORT and this event would be upon us sooner then you think! See what is which, what and where in terms of modelling citeria, techniques etc etc. Don't be foolish to rest on your PAST LAURELS guys because scale modelling made GIANT STRIDES in becoming ART THINK WISELY and TEAM UP to form TANDEMS if neccessary so every model we produce would be at it's BEST.
DON'T LEAVE IT FOR THE LAST MINUTE should be a good enough MOTTO for EVERY event we might attend, SO START SAVING NOW AS WELL, while SERIOUSLY thinking of that SPECIAL PROJECT that has been lurking at the back of your mind for quite some time and you never had targeted to start and finish. Remember that at past IPMS's we were the scourge of the competition as we literally walked away with the MAJOR AWARDS namely two Senior BoS's, one Junior BoS, Category Champions in Aircraft, Dioramas, AFV's, Vehicles, Figures, Class Winners in the same categories and Special Trophy recipients, but as I said earlier DON'T BE FOOLISH AND DO NOT REST ON YOUR PAST LAURELS
REMEMBER that LIFE IS SHORT so MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT NOW WHILE WE CAN
