    Copper Wire..

Post  jojjemannen on Sun Feb 14, 2010 6:01 pm

In Sweden I am used to get anything related from hardware to paint/kitchen appliances in one store. But not here on Malta.

Where can I find copper wire in bulk?

ok, 3 tons 1mm, and 10 tons of 4mm.. Razz

Honestly, I don't really know what type of thickness there should be for the handles of german tanks in 1/35 scale. 2mm? is that to thick?

Ok for that type you can ask an electric store for some samples about 10cm of various electric wire (flex is too thin) and you'll have enough for the Dora.I will get you some but its easy to get.

Copper wire........ good thing to have on the workbench!

I mostly work with .4mm gauge for grab handles.

    It's good to have a .2mm - .3mm - .4mm and sometimes .5mm comes in handy.

    You can find them at

    HOBBY WORLD
    Art and Craft Shop
    MOSTA

you can buy cheap single strand wires and remove the pvc. I think it's cheaper than buying ganutell materials from hobby shops.
