Here is an old movie of Minnesota, the state I live in. They used to play these short movies in the theaters before the main feature. It's a nice piece and it's interesting to see how Minnesota has changed, yet in some ways stayed the same. When they show St. Paul's Cathedral, the camera is right around where I worked and I could always look out the window at the cathedral. I lived about 1 mile from the state capital which they show, about where the camera is at the Capitol they put the gun from USS Ward that sunk the miniature Japanese sub right before the Pearl Harbor attack, the gun was manned by a crew from St. Paul. The bridge over the waterway in Duluth is still there, the road part of it lifts up when the ships go through. There is a maritime museum just on the left side of that waterway where you can stand on a deck about a stone's throw away as the large cargo ships go by. There is also links to a lot of cool old videos of other parts of the U. S. and from around the world.
