    Kawasaki Ki-64 "Rob"

Post  Aldo on Wed Jun 02, 2010 8:28 am

Just finished this 1:72 Kawasaki Ki-64. This is an early short run release by MPM and is a real dog - bad fit, warped, heavy flash, you name it! Sorry guys but this was the best I could do with it

Nice work and metal finish. Strange looking aircraft, did it actually fly?

Prosit Aldo, really nice, what did you use for the metal finish, looking really neat.

I use auto paint and find the DeBeer range (by Molton) very good for fine finishes. Could have left it in gloss finish but the photos I have show a matting natural finish.

Aldo! Nice work on the Kawasaki..

And when I first saw the topic I thought "Oh, he constructed a bike.."
