Invitation to All Members

The Committee invites all Members to a Press Release to commemorate our 30th Anniversary since the founding of the Society in 1981.

This event will take place at our Society’s premises in Blata l-Bajda and the club will be open at 6.30pm. Members are encouraged to be at the club not later than 7.00 to meet visiting guests.

An address to the Press, Guests and Members will be given by the President at 7.30pm. Drinks and other refreshments will be served.

The dress-code for this occasion will be Smart-Casual. The wearing of a jacket is therefore greatly recommended and a tie is optional. We will be taking Group Photos and it would be desirable to appear dressed appropriately for Press photos.

Apart from a photographic display we intend to dedicate some space for the display of models so members are urged to provide some models (these do not need to be the best of best) for viewing by those attending.

Date is, Wed 26th January 2011.

AdriaN, visitors shall be old boys from the club, other associations related with us, exhibition sponsors and press.

Happy 30th anniversary guys! Looks like you guys had a great get-together at the restaurant. That's really cool that the press was interested, hopefully it will help get some young kids involved in the hobby.

Brad, that might look like a restaurant but it is actually our premises. The do was held on home territory. We have a pretty cool place, it is a two storey building complete with a huge roof where we have barbecues in Summer. Wishyou were here, you would not miss a Wednesday i can assure you. We have a large meeting/exhibiting area complete with TV and bar and that is the place you see in the photos. Upstairs we have a huge lecture room and another room. then there is the roof which overlies the entire place. We are lucky to have such premises. Other clubs need to find alternative places to meet up.

Bri, i think he was actually referring to the dinner (at resturant). if you look a page back there are all the dinner pictures

Adrian you are right, i am still hyped up with the party we had and there have been many threads about it so for a while i went off about that. Sorry Brad, my mistake so imagine that you are reading my comment when you look at the photos from the party just one topic up or down.
