GO ON FACEBOOK and see the arguments from Maltese!!!!!

I am ashamed to be part of this new generation!!!!!

The argument is that the story was bloated out and took advantage by politics ... I agree that it was taken advantage off but it was this incident that started the walk for our democracy! Was the riote instigated from roamers or loose talk about the price of bread could be true but the action by the British Lt to fire on the demonstrators and killing a few sparked the uprising and Maltese were brave enough that they did not create more bloodshed but democraticaly start the walk to have a independent and republic country!
Was not the French Revolution started on the same wavelength?

Other nations with such stupid actions from the occupier or government ended in an uprising, a revolution and total chaos, which normally was covered with blood ... we should take an example with the North Africa right know, sparked by the action of that brave Tunisian! Pity capitalist and westernised Malta are loosing this nationalism!

Again ashamed to read that this should not be a day to commemorate!!!! Bah!!!!
What is next we tackle Otto Settembre!!!!
