Just joined the forum.....

Hi,

I am Cyril and have just joined the forum yesterday. I have been a member of the club since 2007 and have joined thanks to my very old friend Louis il-pec. I am retired and married to Mary Rose, we have one only daughter who is also married and lives in Surrey in the UK.

My main interest is aircraft from 1/48 to 1/24 th scale, I have been modelling since I was a young boy, and that was a very long time ago. I remember my first aircraft ever was an Airfix Westland Whirlwind helicopter in 1/72 nd scale. Nowadays I prefer to model on larger scales, there is more scope for detail, and finally my eyesight is not what it used to be. I am not a very fast worker as some of my friends are, but find great enjoyment and satisfaction in what I do.
