Jeez Steve, what a magnificent piece, the expression, the definition and details on his face, helmet and shield, are really great. The helmet looks so real as metallic as the real one would have been, awesome work, what a brilliant piece. In some of the photos it looks like a painting, i think this is one of my favorites from your works.

Lovely paintwork mate allround, love the metal, flesh and shield motif ... pity this bust is so influenced by the movie 300!!!!
Considering this should have been a historical bust the sculptor based it more on a fictional subject, but putting this aside we get away with murder as it is a very well sculpted rendition ...
