Hello everyone!

I was on this site before, but never properly activated my account, so it was shut down due to lack of activity.

Interests : WW1, Russian Civil war, Luftwaffe aircraft in non-Luftwaffe markings, nightfighters, ski and floatplanes, Special Duties a/c, German research types, MiG's (especially the MiG-21/29) and just things that take my fancy.

Preferred scale : 1:72, although I have recently dabbled in 1:48/32, and have just bought a 1:24 Bf109G-10.

I grew up in the early 1980's, where the perception of MiG's was that they were poorly-built, and generally not very potent. It's interesting now to see how good they actually were/are, and the equal of anything matched against them.
