At last i managed to finish this one. temptation to smash this model against a wall, pick up the pieces and shred them into granules and then burn and bury the ashes six feet under where great but i resisted.the kit by eastern express is a lie except for the turret the model is a mix and match of 4 different versions none of which the model on the box art (just about the only decent thing of the lot)
anyway here are some pics. anything which is not grey is scratched except for the wheels which are tank workshop and do not deserve the disgrace of being stuck to this horrible piece of plastic.

Just one question, I see that you have added the rivets. From where do you purchase the rivets ? and how do you fix them in place - using super glue?

I am asking, as I need hundreds of those thing for my ship and they seem to bethe correct size.

Just can't wait to see your model ready for action.

paul follow the link with this method you can do round rivets to your hearts desire for hex rivets i would suggest WALDRON PUNCH AND DIE if it were not so hard to find

master club of russia produce an incredible variety of resin rivets as well

Brass rivets...round and hex...different sizes...

I just yesterday purchased a hex punch and die from this site...even there Photoetch folding tool looks quite nice...

Waldron puch and dies are virtually impossible to find. Historex don't do them anymore either as I was told at last Euro...
