Since the original intended scheme of a P-51D in natural metal with USAAF markings went south, decided to finish this one in a camo scheme using the Xtradecal set. It will be finished in RCAF markings.
Decided to finish this one in standard british colors, and this one is not as straight foward as I originally thought as there are debates as to whether these were finished in standard RAF colors or delivered in US equivalent colors which are not exactly the same. Next decals and weathering. Added louvers over the carburetor vents, which for some reason were common in later RAF mustangs. Will also need to modify the propeller blades.
