The scheme is lovely but as Marco said, there is some overspray. you need to remask and go over the white again. I like to use paper to create those camo schemes.

I agree with both Marco and Brian! I have retouched the colours (all freehandly by the way), and also sprayed white circles for the decals as they are home printed on transparent film. I will try to post some more photos later. I am not much impressed by the quality of the kit and lost some interest in this build, so I am try to finish it up instead of adding another one to the half built up pile. The An-26 is much better even though it is short run.

Touched up some of the paintwork and sprayed the white roundels for the home printed decals. Now some gloss and the decals, plus just a hint of weathering, as this one crash landed a few weeks after being painted in this scheme!

Continued on this one, and after decals, varnish and a little weathering, I removed the masking from all the transerancies. I found that neither the paint nor the Tamiya masking tape stick well to the PETG nose that I made. Paint had bleeded beneath the tape, and some that was supposed to be frames came off with the tape. This did not happen on the canopy which was the kit's. Fortunately, the paint can be easily rubbed off without marking the PETG and after some restoration of a few frames and some tidying up it does not look too bad. Still requires some finishing touches, like the front gun, the lenses for the landing light on the engines, the front door of the front u/c, and some antennas and aerials. For some reason, the bear decal has some yellow showing but the serial numbers don't: these were both printed together on the same sheet and applied in the same way. The only difference is that the bear decal is overlaid over a white background cut from white decal sheet (from the same batch as the transparent one , i.e. laser printable).
